If the Marubeni Corporation initiates any specific proposal for setting up factory
Japanese Marubeni Corporation revealed its concern to set up a Nitrogen, Phosphorus and Potassium (NPK) fertilizer factory in Bangladesh.
A press release said, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the South-West Asian region of the Marubeni Corporation Naoki Izumi disclosed their interest when he called on Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu at the latter's office.
Amu said if the Marubeni Corporation initiates any specific proposal for setting up factory, it will be considered.
He added, "If the proposal in favour of the country's interest, it will be implemented."
Naoki Izumi said,” Marubeni Corporation will provide all sorts of support to Bangladesh for achieving the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).”
